The Black Eyed Peas Experience is a dancing game which exclusively features music tracks by respectively with the pop band the Black Eyed Peas. The player needs to match the dance moves shown on the screen; a graphical representation of the required move is also shown on the screen as pictogram. The program uses the movement of the Wii remote to register the player’s moves. The graphical representation heavily uses pixelation which includes the dancers on the screen. In the background, the game plays music videos or live performances. Besides the standard game mode (the player chooses a song to dance to), the other features from the Xbox 360 version are not included.
In multiplayer, up to four players can dance together. From time to time the game gives a group challenge – when all players do their moves correctly, each earns more points than they would normally.
