Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition (PlayStation 5)

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is an updated release of the original Devil May Cry 5. It is the first version of the game for the PS5 and Xbox Series platforms.

This version uses the platforms’ technical capabilities to introduce ray-tracing support and a framerate up to 120. Ray-tracing was supported in the PS5 version from the start and for XBX through a content update. It is not supported on the XBS version of the game.

Turbo Mode is a new game mode with the game speed boosted by 20%. Also new is the Legendary Dark Knight Mode with fights against large numbers of demons. It includes all additional content that was released for free or as DLC for the original version of the game, including the content of Devil May Cry 5: Deluxe Upgrade, the originally pre-order exclusive EX Color costumes, and the Bloody Palace mode. Entirely new for this version is the introduction as Vergil as a new playable character along with a new battle track. The character is available separately as commercial DLC for the original version of the game.
